Nationalist political movements have been on the rise in Western countries in recent years, with vast consequences for local, national and global political agendas. Join students from The Thacher School, in Ojai, California, and Transylvania College, in Cluj, Romania, on Saturday, February 13, for a global conversation about nationalism.

During the one-hour webinar, students will share their perspectives on nationalism and the different philosophies that exist about it in their countries, and will discuss how nationalist politics have affected everything from energy independence agendas, local Indigenous communities, environmental issues and tensions between citizens and the political class. The students are eager to share what they’ve learned and hope you’ll be able to join them for the global conversation!
